Lovely shot of the ‘Flames’ Mike – it would seem the dry spell followed by this wet spell might have helped it as appearing in other places too!

I thought about alboviolaceous too funnily enough!! But I hadn’t noticed the gill edges – with that information I think I would go albov! But, but but those lines in the stipe are so suggestive of anomolus !! I guess its going to be one of those times with a big question mark hanging over!

The violaceous banding on the stem makes me think these are rather dried Cort. anamolous poss!
