      Hello. These two were found at roadside/grass car parking next to mixed woodland. My first thought was Parrot Waxcap, but the blackening seen on the stem and cap edge is making me think more likely Blackening Waxcap (Hygrocybe nigrescens)? Or Conical Waxcap (Hygrocybe conica)? Any thoughts welcome.

          Yes, Hygrocybe conica. Hygrocybe nigrescens is now regarded as a synonym.

          Hygrocybe conica is quite variable and probably a species complex.
