Hello. A woodland walk yesterday produced an unexpected batch of fungi. I have only pictures of each fungus in situ as they were all single specimens apart from one and I felt unwilling to disturb them, so I appreciate that I can’t provide much detailed information other than North West Brittany, mixed woodland on acid soil. I think I am looking at three different Amanitas: volval sacs were visible in all three and each had a ring, and a possible Boletus calopus? any comments would be welcome.
