      Hi all

Found in Hampshire in grassland. 6cm cap diameter, fawn coloured, umbonate cap with a matted fibrous texture, almost sponge like. Gills concolorous and of uneven length adnate/sinuate to fibrous 7cm stipe, again fawn/grey colour. Spore colour brown. Spores ellipsoidal and smooth, here mounted with Melzer’s reagent. Any help with identification or family greatly appreciated. Thanks Andrew

From a purely visual sense it looks more like an Entoloma to me but not if the spore print is really brown, mmm bit of a puzzle
