    Hello.

These were found in short ‘grassland’ in front of abandonned farmyard – imagine that there is at least two century’s worth of detritus and rubble under poor thin grass.

The three were together in various states of freshness. Hope there’s enough info from the sole photo?

Am I correct in thinking Hygrocybe conica – Blackening Waxcap?

Thanks as usual for any comments :D

No question – I’ve seen this species on thin grassland colonising a former industrial site.

    Best wishes
