Hello. Hoping for some help with ID for this lovely lemon yellow Waxcap found on a very well-kept lawn this morning. Quite a flush of them which have possibly only seen the light of day as it’s been so wet that the lawn hasn’t been cut for about ten days. (Probably a first!) The largest cap is about 6/7cm across. In Brittany, France.

Probably Hygrocybe chlorophana but it helps if we know if the cap and stem were sticky, sometimes only the cap is stick or sometimes both are sticky.

Hi. Thanks for your comments. The cap and stem are very greasy/slimy rather than sticky. Just checked the ones I photographed and despite them having been out of the rain for over an hour they’re still greasy.

        Id be happy with chlorophana.
