      Found these in clusters under a beach tree in deciduous woodland in Wales, has a waxy feel, has a pleasant mushroomy smell, can anyone ID?

        Definitely not waxcaps. Make a spore print.

          Looks like Gymnopus fusipes. Typically grows in clusters at the base of oak trees, more rarely beech. The base of the stem tapers in a root-like way – hence “fusipes”.
