      Just bought one of these for macro work, hope it will be good for hairs, counting gills on mycenas, looking at rust fbs, presence of (larger) cystidia etc. I’ll let you know, only cost £12.75. Anyone else using one?

        Bought an Aldi USB microscope a couple of years ago and I use it a bit for small fungi and now Rusts!

        I find it useful on x10 because I can capture photos easily on my laptop. It has x60 and x200 but latter is difficult to get good images – maybe due to me!

          Not bad for stem examination. Only shows what you can see with a hand lens, but image capture useful.

            Hi Adam,

            That’s not a bad result at all for £12.75 !!!

            Image quality and Depth of focus look quite reasonable.

            I can imagine it will come in very handy for shots of Myxo’s and other such small stuff.

              Yes – also good for Rusts! My USB is a bit basic but useful at x10 and x60
