      An ‘Opegrapha’ on yew bark looked like O. vulgata and the 6-8 septate ascospores fitted this taxon. However, the conidia look distinctive, short and curved 5-6 x 1-1.5 mu. Are these the ‘ short and curved’ conidia of O. niveoatra (x1000)

          Yes, they match Opegrapha niveoatra conidia from our trip to Loo Gill Cumbria. And also found on Harris a couple of months back, which might be new for Outer Hebrides VC110. In both the conidia were around: 5.6×1.6μm and curved.
