Newbie needs identifying

    This mushroom was found in deciduous woodland amongst beach oak and birch and underneath fern bushes, it appeared to be growing in rings and there were ink staining boletes in close proximity, it is slightly funnel shaped (sorry I used a scanner to take the pictures so it might not be obvious) the stem was pure white when picked with a bulbus bottom, I think it has stained a bit after handling the ink staining bolete or having dirty fingers

    Looks like a species of Russula. They typically have a rather papery feel with brittle gills.
