Another from my rummage through old specimens from SW Ireland – this one on Parmeliella thriptophylla, collected 2009.
The closest I can get is Lichenopeltella pannariacearum though it doesn’t entirely match the FGBI description?
The asci were 8-spored, spores very faintly 1-septate, 15-18 x 5-6 µm and multi-guttulate but I wasn’t aware of any setae present and couldn’t see “the upper cell with three pairs of lateral flexuous hair-like setae inserted together near the septum”.
