About a year or so ago I remember reading a paper describing a new cyanolichen. As I recall it, the species was minute, barely distinguishable from colonies of free living Gloeocapsa, the photobiont was Gloeocapsa and I remember there was something about cauliflower-like or botryoidal structures. I found some material that fit that description, but I can’t for the life of me think of the species I had in mind. Does my vague description ring a bell to anyone? I thought I read about it on this site first, but my searches have not returned anything useful, neither does google, scholar, web of science, etc.
There is a small chance I dreamt this, but the memory is so vivid, so I can’t help but ask you all for help.
