This was in our lawn 16 Sept 2022.
What is it, please?
This looks like a young fungus fruitbody in the “parasol” group. The very marginate bulb at the base of the stem suggests Chlorophyllum brunneum, which seems to have a preference for gardens, but it’s a bit too immature to be sure.
