Fuligo septica

I believe I am correct in thinking this is Fuligo septica with the first photo being at the earlier mobile stage and the final one at the static spore producing stage. Its the first time I have seen the earlier version and was initially baffled till I found the static one.near by. Both stages were taken in the same wooded area on fallen logs about 3 metres apart.
