Found this in a wooded nature reserve in NW Leicestershire, with a core of deciduous and conifer plantation extensions, under a deciduous tree at a junction with conifers in two directions and deciduous in the other. There were two or 3 others all no larger than 2-3cm in diameter and possibly some even smaller ones all within the shade of the tree. I queried what it was elsewhere and the suggestion was Echinoderma or Lepiota. I don’t have a microscope so anything beyond photographs is beyond me. Due to the rough nature of the lower stem a search suggested Echinoderma echinaceum though not with any confidence given that there is a lack of reports of that, and Lepiota brunneoincarnata which does at least have reports in Leicestershire. Didn’t smell it due to surrounding nettles. The second set of photos are of what I think is a Lepiota crista in the car park though it lacked the distinctive smell but indicative of Lepiota in the area. Just had a suggestion of Echinoderma Jacobi.
