Re: Hygrocybe/Hygrophorus

Out looking for the Scarlet Elf Cap (which I found) and I came across a small group of these white/ivory fungi growing under the canopy of a couple of taxus in the middle of a mixed woodland.

Re: Dual posts - UK Fungi and ABFG/FCT

This might all be academic since the FCT web site forum may be closed. Apparently they have so many spam registrations that they cannot cope, all very sad. I would suggest a FCT sub-forum here, but it is for Adam to decide.

Re: Introducing myself.

For the last 3 ...

Re: Unbelievable microscope offer

Not long ago Aldi were selling one very similar to that for £35, complete in a case with numerous accessories and a computer coupled camera for optional use in place of the eyepiece.

And this LCD one with measuring scale displaying spores below only cost a quarter of that. Not professional ...

It certainly is
Even with a microscope and the literature it can be difficult; plus the best literature - two volumes with a total of over 900 pages - can be rather daunting in itself: https://www.amazon.com/Mycenas-Northern ...
