Re: Yew fungus

Hi Mike

Sorry I had not heard about Chris. He was always so helpful and forgiving for those of us who were not experts.

Yew fungus

White fruiting bodies on the aril of yew (Taxus baccata). Somewhere I seem to remember a similar posting but I cannot refind. The name "Monilinia" comes to mind. I cannot find any reference to fungi on Yew fruits. For some reason when I post on the BMS site the postings just disappear.

Re: Vinca fungus 2

Thanks Chris.

I also find it peculiar that V major is affected by P vincae and V minor by P cribata but both fungi are affected by T srbozzii.

Thanks for looking

Ivy fungus

On the iNaturalist web site there has been a flurry of observations (involving over one person) of fungi on Ivy leaves. I was wondering if it if possible to separate the following:

Colletotrichum trichellum https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/381773-Colletotrichum-trichellum/browse_photos (Mnay seem ...

Re: Buddleia

Thanks Chris

I may re-locate the plant into a pot and see what develops.

Buddleia

Can anyone help with this on Buddleia (?davidii) Somerset. . There seems to be a mildew - it does not look like Peronospora hariotii - I can seem a mention of a Bremia occuring on Buddleia but no details.
