    Hi All

Could someone please run their eyes over this one and see if it looks OK?

I keyed it out using the Danish online key to Trichia botrytis sp. although not entirely sure about the length of tapering of elaters. My estimate was only 25 um taper but I am going to look at this again and post another photo with scale.

I’m not sure if there is an alternative name for this in the UK – I notice a Trichia botrytis var cerifera in the records but I can’t find any literature.

Spores were ochre-yellow in mass and finely warted, approx 11.5 um.

    Metatrichia floriformis is another possibility.

    Cheers,

    John
