Can anyone tell me why some microscope slides have a frosted end?
There are numerous different types of slides: frosted slides are used for writing on. Perhaps you ordered them by accident, or were sent my mistake.
Regards, Chris
Thanks Chris,I would never have guessed. ordered by mistake.
Mike.
They can actually be very useful, they’re the ones I usually use. Best used with a relatively hard-leaded pencil, helps one keep track of what’s what especially with semi-permanent lactophenol-based mounts.
Am looking for frosted slides – where did you order from? As I’m really struggling to find any at the moment?
Regards
Alex
