Went out today around the local park to see if anything interesting had come up. I’ve found beefsteak fungus, some very grand weeping oak polypores/bracket, various parasols, and birch boletes over the years.

These growing at the base of an unidentified tree; this has a few non-native trees planted like eucalyptus and some odd looking maples.

This interesting clumpy fungus growing up quite an old ornamental cherry. It had some boughs cut back, and they seem to be colonising the stump.

And finally, this large old tree, which the last few years has had large blooms of honey fungus all around it. It came down in the last storm and you can see how hard the fungus was working – it had hollowed the whole tree out right up into the branches.
