      Hi everyone,

I’m looking at buying a decent microscope and considering an SP-100 trinocular from Brunel.

(now I’m in Devon I don’t have access to the ones at work in Wales!)

Which camera would you recommend ?

I’ve looked at their LCMOS ones but am blinded by the science.

Any information on the best one for fungi would be gratefully received.

      thanks

      Gary

Im using the LCMOS. Its a good camera. Only thing is, it doesn’t work directly with Micam software, you have to use the supplied ToupView. You can then open the images in Micam to do measurements. ToupView is fine to use directly but takes a bit more getting used to.

          Thanks Adam,

          I’ll bear that in mind

My friend David Farley (Devon Fungus Group) has suggested that I go to Brunel and try a few which seems like a good idea as it’s only about 2 hours Drive from where I am now in South Devon.

            They are helpful.

We just had a short break in Devon, staying near Teignmouth.
