A month ago I released a guide to Lichenicolous fungi occurring on Xanthoria parietina in the United Kingdom via Twitter and Facebook.

Neil has asked me to post the link here for non-Twitter and non-Facebook followers.

The guide contains a brief introduction, a key to all LFs recorded on X. parietina in the UK and descriptions of thirteen fungi. I hope to be moving the guide to the BLS website in the future and posting some more descriptions of individual LFs there too. At the moment, you can find the guide here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1k3Or3_oF7uNx2XmRWaS6vf9wQUWI1SzX/view?usp=sharing” class=”bbcode_url”>https://drive.google.com/file/d/1k3Or3_oF7uNx2XmRWaS6vf9wQUWI1SzX/view?usp=sharing

Many thanks for the link, Fay, an excellent reference and key.

This is brilliant! Many thanks for sharing, Fay. I avoid Facebook and don’t have time to keep up with Twitter feeds, so this would have passed me by.

      Best wishes

I can only apologise for not putting the link here immediately. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it.

I’m now working on a guide to LFs on Physcia species.

I’ll post anything else I release in this thread.

I hope the first guide is useful. Please send both positive and negative feedback through. And, if anyone has any better photos to share, I’m open to changing those too.
