Your knowledge of Inkcaps (now called Coprioid fungi according to Kew) is far in advance of mine!
Without microscopy a difficult area.

Often a difficult area even with microscopy! I forgot to mention above that this specimen also lacked lageniform cheilocystidia which is a feature of C. cordispora. Derek Schafer’s 2009 key calls it Coprinopsis patouillardiiCoprinopsis patouillardii

I’ve found similar on neighbour’s lawn which I think is a Parasola but I might be wrong. I will try and post photos but maybe too large files and I’m not at all sure how to make them smaller! I don’t do microscopy so difficult to be sure of id.

ps how do I add a ‘comment’ to all my posts – probably some where on the website!
‘The more I know the more I realise I don’t know’.
Not sure who this is from but sometimes quoted by the ‘Kew Crew’

I think you mean “signature” – it’s in your profile. Click on your user name at the top right, and choose profile. It’s in there.
