Can anyone help with this

mildew on Verbascum leaves.

There would appear to be three possibilities

Leveillula verbasci

I can find no photo of this species but this looks similar https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leveillula

Peronospora verbasci

Does not seem to match the descriptuion at https://bladmineerders.nl/parasites/chromista/oomycota/oomycetes/peronosporales/peronosporaceae/peronospora/peronospora-verbasci/

Golovinomyces verbasci

Possibly similar https://bladmineerders.nl/parasites/fungi/dikarya/ascomycota/pezizomycotina/leotiomycetes/leotiomycetidae/helotiales/erysiphaceae/golovinomyces/golovinomyces-verbasci/

Did you look at this microscopically? Otherwise I doubt if an ID will be possible.
