Pitufo John has been producing such wonderful images that it is with some trepidation I post on this thread. A common species, granted, but I think (hope) this image has a certain abstract appeal . . .

No "Myxomycete of the day" for a while. There was a whole trunk covered with developing Cribraria persoonii at weekend..
