An interesting discomycete new to the UK

Post by Chris Yeates » Fri Jul 03, 2015 1:10 pm

Well new a year and a half ago . . . .
I had missed this exciting find by Marcus Yeo when it was first posted: http://www.ascofrance.com/forum/26195/l ... dead-wood#
Still worth posting here I think because Guy Garcia has kindly just posted a PDF file of the original description (with Zotto Baral's typically splendid drawings) on that thread.
One for us to look out for - double-check those white "Lachnum" collections! I fear that up here in Yorkshire we may be a bit far north, we're not really sub-Mediterranean here - though we have been in the last few days . But you never know - a couple of years back Alick Henrici found this in South Yorkshire:

cheers
