Rutstroemia sydowiana or Oakleaf Cup

Post by Steve » Mon Sep 11, 2017 11:20 am

Rutstroemia sydowiana or Oakleaf Cup - I reckon. We’ve found this twice recently, but it needs keen eyes. Spores are kidney shaped so presumably make this an easy one to ID. There are a good few like this and some are very hard to ID like Sclerotinia (which I discovered growing with Botrytis mould - it's the perfect stage of the mould.... I think).
All microscopy in water.
