Resources and suppliers

Post by adampembs » Fri May 29, 2015 4:31 pm

Stains / Reagents
http://www.micro-science.co.uk/mycology ... -en-2.html It is run by one of our members John Robinson aka "Pitufo" and I have been happy with the service.
The ABFG also offer stains and reagents, but you have to be an ABFG member.

Microscope suppliers

If anyone has suppliers to recommend, let us know!

Another competitively priced supplier for all things mycological - Books / Microscopes / Accessories / Stains & Reagents, etc., is: -

Myco-Shop: - http://www.myko-shop.de/epages/62834980 ... Categories
A German language site, but can be viewed using English language, by clicking on the Union Flag tab. (Top right hand corner of its pages).

Based in Germany, the site is run by another of UK Fungi's members, Andreas Gminder, - aka "mollisia".

Regards,
Mike.

I actually got my Funga Nordica from Andreas, it was at a really good price at the time. He also keeps some books you don't see on Summerfield Books.

Summerfield Books seem to be able to get some books not widely available. Recently bought Dutch Rust Fungi through them. They are always helpful in my experience

My post was not a criticism of Summerfield Books. Most of my books come from there. I was just saying Andreas has some books they don't have.
eg Mycena 'd'europa - regarded as the best book on Mycenas that is still in print.
