Ring of Fungi around Beech tree - help to ID

Please try to include photos to show all parts of the fungus, eg top, stem, and gills.
Note any smells, and associated trees or plants (eg oak, birch). A spore print can be very useful.

Ring of Fungi around Beech tree - help to ID

Hello, can anyone suggest what fungi this may be ? A broad ring of several around a beech tree. Quite a pleasant smell !
Height and Width 7 cm
Cap - Slight wavy
Gills - some forking, brittle, adnate/decurrent
Flesh - white and quite thick
Stem -Height 4.5cm. Width 1.5cm, White with brown scales, snaps
