Duncombe Park today with lots of Waxcaps. Unfortunately many had been "got" by the frost but still enough to keep me busy. Here is a couple of Hygrocybe pratensis.

Armillaria mellea and Coprinellus micaceus (Photo taken two weeks ago - before the frosts!).

The last of the season's grassland fungi at Longshaw included this Meadow Coral - Clavulinopsis corniculata. The Cladonia lichens were far better than the non-lichenised fungi.

Found today when checking the site: -

Sarcoscypha austriaca - Scarlet Elf Cup (Along with its orange variant): -

NB: Samples from this specific location, (both colours), have been submitted to, and confirmed by Kew as S.austriaca.
