Fungus Of The Day (One identified fungus only please, with species name in attachment comment and in post)

OK - it was actually the fungus of a couple of weeks ago, but I'm just trying to kick-start more input to the forum. ;)

Common Morel - Morchella esculenta.

Not a bad shot at all Adam! - And at least you're finding things with gills!
The only things I've seen with gills recently, are the small trout in Sunnyhurst Brook!

Nice pic by Fiona from NBGW day. I think Bruce said this was King stropharia - a wood chip specialist only recently recorded in the UK. Some good info on the First Nature website - link below...
