Wildflower on salt marsh for ID please

If photo isn't clear enough, I'll go back and try to key it out myself, but someone may know it instantly. The flowers have a slight pinkish/purplish hue that isn't visible in the photo.

Hi Adam,

It's the Sea Aster - Aster tripolium var.tripolium (the variety with bluish-mauve ray florets).

Thanks Mike, I got an ID from Nigel Stringer for it and the rust Puccinia cnici-oleracei that was on it.

I'd already seen that topic but still hadn't spotted the fact that it was the same species of plant. :roll:
