Hello, Could anyone help to identify this bracket please. Found on a stile post, presumably hardwood near a wooded area. I thought maybe Ganoderma pfeifferi but the pores only measured 3 per mm and the match test didn't melt the cap edge more like a sizzle. There were resinous deposite on the surfac...

With a strong smell of Aniseed I would suggest Lentinellus cochleatus but usually found on dead broadleaf trees.

Polyporus tuberaster?

Hi could anyone confirm if this is P olyporus tuberaster. I didn't manage to get a shot of the stripe to see if there were any white hairs on the stripe.
1. Mixed Woodland
2.Pathside
3. On dead branch, single specimen.
4. Cap: Brown squamules, 4cm x 2.5 cm

Bright Yellow Slime Mould.

Hello, Could anyone identify this bright yellow slime mould please. It's on a piece of carved pine. The closest I can get to is Tubifera ferrigunosa but that is respberry coloured. Sorry for the lack of information and thanks in advance.

I have been looking for Marasmius husonii on ivy leaf but came across this strange looking specimen which I think may not even be a mushroom at all. I think it may be a seed pod but would appreciate conformation. It was found on the front of a dead ivy leaf amongst leaf litter. Apologies for the poo...
