I get these in my raised beds. I have always assumed it was from the compost where my discarded finds go.

I found Laccaria tortilis in its usual place under eucalyptus today. In-situ pictures were naff but it had two spored basidia ;)

I think it is Toothwort Lathraea squamaria.
It grows parasitic on hazel.
