Re: Typhula erythropus - Redleg Club

Mal and Chris,

The same 'choosing' of which frames to exclude or include from the final image can be achieved with Helicon Focus too.

See the 'Retouching' video over at: http://www.heliconsoft.com/tutorials/36/

Hope that helps in your possible choice.

Re: minuscule caterpillar in gills of fungi any ideas please

Nelly, From your photo, although unclear, it does look as though it could be a lepidopterous larva. If it is it will be a micro-moth and probably one of these species (see here: http://www.northumberlandmoths.org.uk/foodplants.php?foodplant=Bracket%20fungi ). Hope that helps. Breeding it through is ...

Re: Identification Guide for Mildews?

Mike, Chris has just PM'd me and asked for my e-mail address to send the documents to. As you can see from my previous posting I cannot PM him back so cannot send him my e-mail address. Could I possibly ask yourself to PM Chris with my e-mail please (assuming you still have it from my first posting)...

Re: Identification Guide for Mildews?

Hi Mike, Many thanks for the pointer - I have just been in and seen that you have PM'd Chris and copied me in - Thank you. I'm afraid I cannot PM anybody as I get the following message: "We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to p...

Books and Papers ??

Dear All, I am very new to the idea of using a compound microscope to aid in species identification (including areas beyond fungi) and my first ever compound (a Brunel SP500) arrives on Thursday (28/01/2016). Currently my main interests and the reason for obtaining the compound are as follows: Milde...

Re: Identification Guide for Mildews?

Chris, Sorry to be a nuisance but I am new to the Forum. If at all possible I would like to request the papers on Mildews. I have attempted to PM you but cannot find a link on the forum site to accomplish this - have even been to your profile and although is has a header which says "Contact Chris Ye...
